Pablo Villavicencio is currently the Chief of Schools for Alliance Public Schools in Los Angeles, CA. During the Fellowship, Pablo was the Director of High Schools for San Francisco Unified School District. From 2010 to 2013, Pablo served as the founding principal of Bronx Bridges High School. He successfully led the design and opening of this school, which is designed to serve at-risk students, 93% of whom are at the lowest one-third of academic standing in New York City Public Schools and 100% of whom qualify for free and reduced lunch. Prior to this role, Pablo served as Academic Dean of ELLs at Urban Science Academy.
Pablo holds a B.A. in Political Economy of Industrialized Societies from University of California, Berkeley and an M.S.Ed. in Dual Language/Bilingual General Childhood Education from The Bank Street College of Education.
