Elizabeth Marcell Williams is the Executive Director of the New Orleans Therapeutic Day Program for the Recovery School District in Louisiana, a role she served in during the Fellowship. After the Fellowship, Elizabeth also became the CEO of the Center for Resilience within the Recovery School District. Prior to the Fellowship, Elizabeth served as the Executive Director of Intervention Services at ReNEW Schools and was a founding member of the ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization. She also served as the Vice-Chair of the Louisiana Special Education Cooperative and as the charter school representative on the Special Education Advisory Committee to Louisiana's Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Italian Language and Literature from Smith College and an M.Ed. and Ed.D. in Culture, Communities, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
